Most of the time, self esteem is a mental issue. But sometimes it’s a physical issue as well - something that needs to be addressed with medicine. A lot of people have low self esteem these days and the number’s growing! Not good. So let’s take a look at a few simple plans.
First
Most people believe that self esteem is purely mental. Well, if you believed that, you’d be wrong as well. In fact, the physical aspect of self esteem is pretty crucial, so it’s gonna be included in our treatment plan.
A small example: Body Odor. You smell, people avoid you, your self esteem sinks. Many other examples like this, but in this case, it’s pretty simple to take care of.
This situation is simple enough - Just take a shower. Even though it was simple, you still need to include these types of cases in your treatment plan.
Second
Now, let’s get to the mental aspect of low self esteem.
Essentially, the process starts and ends with you. Every single healing process involves this core procedure. If you achieve this, others will subconsciously start respecting you as well.
For example, try this: If you find yourself berating yourself, consciously tell yourself that you just made a mistake and that you’ll learn from it. Be consistent and it’ll become a habit.
But let’s face it. Not every self esteem treatment plan will work for everyone. In the worst case scenario that these plans haven’t worked (or you haven’t really tried them), take a step back and mull over the possibility of seeking professional help.
